This is the V-Stitch. If you look, you can see the 'V' stiches. With certain verregated yarns, and widths and lengths, it will make it's own sort of patter, such as the one here.
This is the ripple pattern. This is with 5 colors, but there is no set amount. You can have random stripes, or uniform. I can do this in one set color, or in up to 7 colors. I can do more, but there will be an additional cost, depending on the side of the afghan.
